John Hoyt is the Chief Information Security Officer at Clemson University. He leads a team to implement and maintain a security program that protects the University’s computing systems, services, network, and data from intentional and unintentional loss, disclosure, alteration, destruction, and unavailability. He’s been at the University for over 16 years in a range of senior IT roles and has been CISO since 2021.
Prior to Clemson, John spent time at The Timken Company and ACS Technologies.
